The first motorcycle race was held the day the 2nd motorcycle was built.

Flattrack motorcycle racing, America's original extreme sport.  Handlebar to handlebar, elbow to elbow, these fearless pilots race motorcycles with no front brakes on tracks across the country that see upwards of 125 MPH!  Sliding sideways with the throttle wide open and their left foot dragging alongside them....it's a sight that everyone has to experience.

The Vintage Dirt Track Racing Association (V.D.T.R.A) is the FIRST and LONGEST RUNNING Vintage flattrack sanctioning body organization. We are where vintage flattrack motorcycle racing was started. After a few small exhibition events in the late 80's/early 90's, it wasn't long before the vintage flattrack revolution was started-and the VDTRA was born.

Now 2019 see's the V.D.T.R.A hosting and sanctioning 18 flattrack motorcycle races in 6 different states. With a full line of classes available  for all motorcycles both vintage and modern. All ages, all skill levels and all bikes are welcome, and remember KIDS RACE FOR FREE.

Do you want to race flattrack? Maybe just spectate? Have a bike? Looking for one? It's easier then you think.

Contact us today where we can answer questions and even appoint you to a rider representative in your area to help/work with you.
